STEM instruction is a rigorous approach to blending standards from Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  Students engage in lessons that require higher-level problem-solving skills to solve problems created by the teachers.  By working together using critical thinking skills, students learn to work collaboratively using effective communication and applying creativity to come to solutions. The 4 C’s of 21^st Century Skills (Critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration) are the cornerstone for students in today’s global community.
