Due to anticipated winter weather conditions, PCSD is canceling all school activities for Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Any changes to the school schedule, including a closure, delay, or digital learning day, will be communicated at a later time as conditions are further evaluated.

School Closure Notice - Monday, January 26, 2026 - Due to the potential for hazardous icy conditions and anticipated power outages across the county, all Pickens County School District schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26th. This closure applies to all students and staff. This will not be a digital learning day.

Families are invited to our STEM Night & Student Showcase on Thursday, January 29th! Students can’t wait to share exciting learning experiences and creative projects they’ve been working on. Come celebrate their hard work and creativity with us!

Celebrating the 100th day the only way we know how.. FUN!

Our PTO really is the best. They are constantly going above and beyond for all of us, staff and our kiddos. We are very lucky to have them.

We are also very lucky to have the amazing sponsors that want to be a part of helping them help us. HUGE shoutout to Woodward Pool and Spa for the snow cones! Thank you for being a part of our Tate family.
