Melissa Bramlett was born and raised in Blue Ridge, GA but moved to Jasper shortly after graduating from University of North Georgia and getting married.  She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from North Georgia College and worked in the field of Manufacturing Accounting for 18 years before going back to school to obtain her Masters in Teaching from Reinhardt University.  Melissa spent her first 5 years at Jasper Middle School and made the transition to High School in the 2023-2024 school year.  She is a Special Education Teacher and took the reins of the Swim Team in 2021.  

Melissa was a trained LifeGuard in her teen years and grew up spending her summer days at the pool.  Both of her daughters began swimming at an early age and began competing at 6 years old.  Having spent a lot of time around the Summer Swim Program with her girls, and the PHS Swim program as a parent, when the opportunity presented itself to step into the Coaching role, she did just that.
