Mac Loudermilk-Head Coach
Coach Loudermilk is entering his 4th year of coaching at Pickens High School. He coaches the wide receivers and serves as the special teams coordinator, and is entering his second year as the head Track & Field coach. Mac is the son of former head Dragons football coach Mark Loudermilk. Coach Loudermilk attended Valdosta High School. From there, he went on to play college football at The University of Central Florida.
At UCF, Coach Loudermilk would be a three-time letterman and 2-time team captain, receiving all-conference honors and graduating with a Sports and Exercise Science degree. Coach Loudermilk had a short stint in the NFL before he began coaching. He teaches Physical Education and has a daughter named Amelia.

Jim Pavao-PJHS Head Coach
Coach Pavao will be entering his 45th year of coaching. He coached for 20 years in college, making stops at Norwich University, Davidson College, Princeton University, and Maryville College, where he was the DC for 16 years. After leaving college football, Coach Pavao came to Georgia to coach. He has had stops at Burke County HS, Gainesville HS, Fannin County HS, Coffee HS, and Rabun County HS. This will be his 2nd year at Pickens HS, where he will coach Linebackers and teach in the PE department. Coach Pavao has won 6 region championships, 1 State runner-up, and the 2012 5A State Championship. He has coached over 25 All-Region, All-State, and All-American Linebackers.
Coach Pavao received a BS in Physical Education and a MEd from Norwich University. He played football and baseball for four years in high school and college. He also played for two years in the Eastern Football League. Coach Pavao and his wife Sally have been married for 39 years. They have four grown children and three grandchildren.
