School-Based Health Center

Through a partnership grant from the Georgia Department of Education, and with Good Samaritan Health and Wellness, the  PCSD has a school-based health center (SBHC) on the campus of Pickens Junior High School. This SBHC provides general health services and behavioral and mental health services.  Parents must enroll students into the programs offered at the SBHC.  In addition to on-site services for PJHS, Good Samaritan will also provide telemedicine services to the other schools in PCSD. The on-site services are offered to any PCSD student, staff, and their household members.
