Technology & Information Systems is responsible for the effective integration of technology used to promote the instructional and administrative processes that engage students and accelerate learning and operational activities.
With the help of a talented IT team, we support:
Infrastructure - firewalls, web filters, servers, wireless access points, and VOIP telephones
Hardware - laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, iPads and other instructional hardware
Software - Infinite Campus, Destiny, and other school-based software
The Technology Department is committed to providing great customer service, support, and solutions. Our mission is to improve student success, eliminate achievement gaps, and produce technically competent graduates able to compete in a global workforce. From providing teachers and students access to the digital tools they need for instruction, to ensuring that parents have access to up to date information on student progress, to support our business users, to protecting PCSD’s network from cyber-attacks, it is the goal of Technology Services to support all of the District’s information technology needs.
Helpdesk
Staff should enter problems as Tickets into the Help Desk Program (One to One)
All technology related problems and concerns should be entered into the system. The help desk program will route the concern to the correct individual to complete the task.
