Congratulations to Harmony Elementary, Hill City Elementary, Jasper Middle and Pickens Junior High! These schools were awarded the Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness for the 2025-2026 school year.
The applications were reviewed by representatives from the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Office of Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner as well as the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and these schools met the standards of excellence required for recognition.
