The Pickens County School District (PCSD) is honored, once again, to offer lottery funded Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Program classes at Hill City Elementary School. The Pre-Kindergarten program is funded by the Georgia State Lottery, governed by Bright from the Start.
The PCSD Pre-K program is an age appropriate instructional program that prepares students for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond. In order for a child to be school ready, it means they are socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively prepared for success in kindergarten.
Students must be 4 years old on or before September 1st (birthday prior to 9/2/2022).
Applications will be accepted until 4pm on Friday, March 27th.
Lottery will be held on Tuesday, March 31st for all completed applications and families will be notified regarding placement or waiting list status.
If you fail to complete and submit your application by the deadline, your student may be placed on the waitlist.
