Due to the Pickens High baseball team advancing to the GHSA Final Four this Thursday in Calhoun, the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting and student and teacher recognition event has been rescheduled from Thursday, May 14th to Monday, May 18th. This change in meeting date will allow our students, families, staff and community the opportunity to support our baseball team.
The Pickens County Board of Education will hold the May 2026 called and regular board meetings on May 18, 2026 on the campus of Pickens Junior High School. The called meeting will begin at 5:00 PM, and the regular meeting will begin at 6:00 PM.
This meeting will be held at the Pickens Junior High School, 1802 Refuge Road, Jasper, Georgia.
