Congratulations to Valerie Boehm, a teacher at Pickens High School, for being named the 2026-27 Teacher of the Year for Pickens County School District!
Selected from an outstanding group of school-level Teachers of the Year across the district, Boehm was recognized for a strong commitment to student success, instructional excellence, and leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
As District Teacher of the Year, Boehm will represent Pickens County Schools in the statewide 2028 Georgia Teacher of the Year program.
